Green Signs

As part of the move to our new Greenwich studio, the BSS Green Committee is looking for environmental signage:

1) A sign to remind people to turn off lights when leaving for the day
(up to 10"x14")

2) and a recycling sign
(up to 36" x 20") that has the following:
a) only dry paper goods without food;
b) glass and/or plastic bottles for kitchens and throughout office space;
c) batteries, cell phones, etc

To add a bit more spice to it all, in addition to having your artwork showcased throughout the building, prizes will be awarded to the winners; one for each category.

Non-survival of the least fit

Throughout history, science has celebrated the animals that had the upper hand. When a positive characteristic favors survival it is called adaptation. This drawing challenge is to remember the animals that never had a chance. The animals whose speciation became a greater handicap than an advantage.

As flu season is coming to an end, another threat is on the rise, Cooties. Hopefully with this post we'll be able to identify the symptoms, know what threats to look for on Valentine's Day, and use the available treatments in fighting this pandemic.
